Crafts Council of India, December 1 - 10, 2002
An exhibition cum sale was organized by Crafts Council of India.
The theme was - BEADS, BANGLES AND BAGS- Artistic talent from different parts of the country was showcased under one roof. This was an annual event sponsored by the Office of the Development Commissioner, Handicrafts, Ministry of Textiles, Government of India.
Mirror -encrusted lacquer, wood and glass bangles fashioned by hands in the old bazaars of Hyderabad, Rajasthan and U.P. Evening bags embellished with Kantha Zardosi, Toda, Banjara, Rabari, Mochi and Banno embroidery were displayed.
