Christies Show, March 13, 2002
The launch of DBS Galleria was an event in association with Christies India. Funded by James Christies in 1766,it is a name that speaks of extraordinary art, unparalleled service and international glamour all around the world. Paintings that were later auctioned in Hong Kong on April 28, 02, were previewed at DBS Galleria on March 13, 02.
The occasion was a pleasant cocktail session with hosts Shamsunder Aggarwal, Chairman, Perveez Aggarwal, Managing Director, Vanita Bhandari, Vikram Aggarwal, Shaheen Aggarwal, Directors - DBS Group of Companies, and Ms. Mallika Sagar, Representative - Christies India. Jehangir Sabavala, renowned artist, graced the occasion by lighting the auspicious diya.
